Mr. Joel Louie Prine, 65, a native and resident of Burbank, AL. died March 25, 2011 in Chunchula, AL. He was a retired ironworker and member of the American Legion # 164. Mr. Prine enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents, L.E. and Wilhelmina Prine, sister, Mary Box and brother, William Clayton Prine. He is survived by his loving companion and friend, Renee Fountain; sons, Luey Prine of Vinegar Bend, AL., Clayton Prine of Gulfcrest, AL., Albert Prine and Jody Prine, both of Citronelle, AL., Michael Prine of Fruitdale, AL.; Renee's son and nephew, whom he thought of as his sons, Jason Fountain and Caleb Fountain, both of Leakesville, MS; brothers, Johnny Prine and Donald Wayne Prine, both of Burbank, AL.; sisters, Linda Smith of Vinegar Bend, AL., Willa Rae Box of Lucedale, MS. and Faye Dees of Deer Park, AL.; seventeen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends. A wake will be from 6-9 PM Saturday, March 26, 2011 at Burbank Pentecostal Church. The Funeral Service will be 10 AM Sunday, March 27, 2011 at the church with Rev. James Bice officiating. Honorary Pallbearers will be Mike Prine and Wesley Baker. Active Pallbearers will be Bryan Wells, Bobby Scruggs, Donald Wayne Prine, Jr., Johnny Gentry, Johnny Morrison, Danny Box and John Travis Prine. Interment will be in Burbank Cemetery.
