John Dempsey Ryder, Jr.

September 4, 1962 — February 17, 2019

John Dempsey "Johnny Ringo" Ryder, Jr., 56, a longtime resident of Citronelle, Alabama passed away Sunday, February 17, 2019 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. John was a carpenter, loved the outdoors, fishing, play the guitar, horseback riding, but his favorite thing to do was to ride his motorcycle. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. John will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his father, John Dempsey Ryder, Sr. Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Shaun Michael Authement, Tristan Cody Ryder, Christopher Michael Ryder, and Christian Faith Noel Rivers; mother, Rita Ryder; eleven grandchildren; siblings, Diane Doss, Donna Ryder, Diann Hylsky, Deb Ryder, David Rodrigue, Allen Rodrigue, Jeanette Ryder and Rita Ryder; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. The family will receive friends from 2pm until the 3pm funeral service on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at Freeman Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Pine Crest Cemetery.
