John Howard Prine, M.D.

John Howard Prine, M.D., age 77, a native and resident of Citronelle, AL., died Monday, January 17, 2011 at his residence. He served as a captain in the United States Air Force. Dr. Prine was the "town doctor" in Citronelle for over 40 years. He attended Life Church and First Baptist Church - Citronelle. He is survived by his wife, Mary Lucy Vann Prine of Citronelle and his son, John David (Jodi) Prine of Panama City Beach, FL.; and other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 9 AM until the 11 AM Funeral Service Saturday, January 22, 2011 at First Baptist Church - Citronelle with Dr. Dick Braswell & Rev. Scott Howard officiating. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery in Citronelle, AL. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
