Mr. John Staehle, III, 77, a resident of Citronelle, Alabama passed away Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at his home. He served in the United States Army and retired as foreman from CSX Railroad with over 40 years of service. He was a member of County Line Missionary Baptist Church, enjoyed farming and spending time outdoors. Mr. Staehle was preceded in death by his son, Donald Staehle. Left to cherish his memory, wife of 54 years, Winnie Gray Staehle; two daughters, Theresa Jones and Gail Green; five grandchildren, Jeremy (Lauren Navaroli) Green, Toby Green, Travis Hillman, Shelby (Kris) Singleton and Llayna Heard; eight great grandchildren, Garrett, Drew, Mason, Jayonna, Jakobe, McKaylee, James and Tavaya; two brothers, Paul Staehle and Michael Staehle; four sisters, Juanita Isler, Charlene Donald, Catherine Donovan and Sarah Woodson; other relatives and friends. The wake will be from 6-9pm Thursday, August 28, 2014 at Freeman Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 3pm Friday, August 29, 2014 from the chapel of the funeral home with Elder John O.
