John Walter Lott, a resident of Chunchula, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2020, at Mobile Infirmary Medical Center. He was 75 years old. John loved his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He was proud to have served his country in the United States Army and National Guard during the Vietnam and Gulf Wars. He was also a 32nd degree Mason with the Citronelle Lodge 637 F.&A.M. John was a great dancer who enjoyed hunting and fishing, and also enjoyed watching Alabama football. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dennis and Nona Lott; and brother, James “Sonny” Lott. Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Lori Hast (Steve) and Sandy Ray “Fred” Lott (Cheryl); grandchildren, Kern Hast, Kyler Hast, Eric Taylor (Noelle), Mylinna Jones (Dillon), Cody Ramey, and Casey Ramey; great grandchildren, Journee, Michael Braxton, and Trenton; siblings, Bernice Malone, Maurice Lott, and Bobby Lott; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A memorial service will be held for Dub at 11am on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at Oasis Church (16225 Celeste Road, Citronelle, Alabama 36522) with Bro. Walt Turner officiating.
