Johnny Edison Reed, Jr., a resident of McIntosh, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2018. He was 40 years old. Johnny was born March 30, 1978. He was an avid Alabama fan that never missed a game. He loved his family and friends dearly. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Johnny was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Tollie Bell Reed and Ida Mae Reed; grandfather, Coney Clayton Reed; and best friend and cousin, Heath Allen Smith. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Angela Reed; children, Pamila Reed, Johnny Edison Reed, III, and Paris Reed; parents, Johnny and Joann Reed; siblings, Coney Reed (Roxanne), Dillard Reed, Angela Weston (Aaron); mother and father in law, Tammy and Tom Weaver; sisters in law, Diana Weaver and Dywn Weaver; aunts, Faye Eaton and Susan McGuire; a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. A wake will be held for Johnny beginning at 6pm on Thursday, December 20, 2018, at Magnolia Holiness Church. Funeral will be held 2pm Friday, December 21, 2018, at Magnolia Holiness Church with Rev. Jerry Waite, Rev. Ike Reed, Rev. Irvin Reed, and Rev. Oliver Koen officiating. Burial will follow in Magnolia Cemetery. Online condolences may be given at www.freemancitronelle.com.
