Joseph Adam Turner, 25, a native and resident of Citronelle, Alabama passed away, along with his wife, Shannon Melissia Randall, on Saturday, August 20, 2016. Adam enjoyed hunting, fishing, mud riding, but most of all, he loved being a father. He was loved my many and will be dearly missed. Adam was preceded in death by his father, Larry Dale Turner and grandmother, Diane Newburn. Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Joseph Colton “Moot” and Darren Wayne “Fishin Rod”; step children, Brooklyn and Justin; mother, Virginia Lester; sisters, Sharon Thompson and Laneta Lester; brothers, Tyler Turner and Kameron Turner; grandfather who raised him like a son, Ed Wain Newburn; aunt, Lisa Newburn; uncle, Bill Newburn; mother-in-law, Mattie Brown; other relatives and friends. The wake will be from 6-9pm Thursday, August 25, 2016 at Restoration Church in Citronelle. The funeral service will be 11am Friday, August 26, 2016 at Restoration Church with Rev. Chris Johnston and Rev. John Blackwell officiating. Burial will follow in Red Wash Cemetery in Charity Chapel, Alabama. The family requests donations be made to Freeman Funeral Home.
