Joseph Bobby Byrd

Joseph Bobby Byrd, a resident of Mount Vernon, Alabama, passed away Sunday, March 17, 2019, at Springhill Medical Center. He was 64 years old. Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, and one grandson. Those left to cherish his memory include his fiancé, Frozine Andrea Reed; children, Alexis (Melanie), Vicky and LaShunda (Peggy Ann), Lashay and Derrick Ron (Diane), Joseph, John, and Shelbie (Hope), Nancy and Destiny (Shannon); grandchildren, Jamee, Kristin, Alexis, Sheila, Alexea, Victoria, Matt, Yasmine, Taten, Blake, and Adelynn; sister, Katie Sullivan; a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. A wake will be held for Bobby from 6pm until 9pm Wednesday, March 20, 2019, at Freeman Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 10am Thursday, March 21, 2019, at Simple House of Praise Church.
