Joseph Lynn Catledge, affectionately known as Joe, passed away peacefully at his home on February 28, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born on May 5, 1945, Joe lived a life rich with love, laughter, and a profound connection to the outdoors.

Joe was well-regarded for his great sense of humor and his caring, intelligent nature. He had a quiet strength that drew people to him, and he was always ready with a smile or a kind word. He cherished the simple pleasures in life, spending countless hours tending to his beloved garden, fishing, and hunting. His passion for woodworking was evident in the beautiful rocking chairs and tables he lovingly crafted, reflecting his creativity and dedication.

Throughout his 59 years of marriage, Joe shared a deep bond with his wife, Mary Lou Catledge. Together, they created a vibrant family and a nurturing home. Joe's children, Lisa Echols, Brian Catledge (Tracy), and Zenda Pierce, were his pride and joy. He exemplified what it meant to be a devoted father, instilling values of love and resilience in each of them. His grandchildren, Troy Catledge, Aden Catledge, Skyler Pierce, Blake Moser, and Ashton Moser, as well as his great granddaughter, Elizabeth, were constant sources of joy in his life, and he took immense pride in their accomplishments. Joe is also survived by his brother, George Catledge, and many other relatives and friends who will remember him for his warmth and kindness.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Annie Catledge, and a brother, Lee Catledge. Joe's legacy will endure through the lives he touched and the love he shared with those around him. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew him.
