On Wednesday, February 12, 2025, Joseph Perry Craft, loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather passed away in his home in Point Clear, AL at the age of 82. Joseph was born in Citronelle, AL, May 18, 1942.
He is proceeded in death by his parents, Gilbert Joseph Craft and Margaret Perry Craft, and brothers Gilbert Robert Craft and William Micheal Craft. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Ouida Lankford Craft, his three children: Michele Craft Wolfe (Fred), Joann Craft Nichols (Jeff) and Joseph Perry Craft Jr.(Donna), his 5 grandchildren: Ashley Grace Nichols McManus (Ryan), Jeffry Alexander Nichols (Reagan), Caroline Avery Craft, Savannah Lauren Clark and Sophia Lorraine Griffin and one great grandchild: Emerson Alexander Nichols; brother, James B. Craft; other relatives and friends. Joe Craft was the owner and President of Craft’s Automotive Service, Inc., J & O Trucking Inc., and the owner and proprietor of J & O Auto Parts. He was a lifelong member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. He attended St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Fairhope AL after moving to Point Clear. Joseph was a Citronelle volunteer fireman, volunteer ambulance driver, and a member of the Chamber of Commerce.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, February 17, 2025 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 8025 East State Street, Citronelle, AL 36522. Visitation will begin at 10 am in the church with the service to follow. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, please donate to St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.
