Joseph Mark Helveston

Joseph Mark Helveston, 57, a native of Citronelle, Alabama and a resident of Prattville, Alabama passed away May 2, 2015 at Prattville Baptist Hospital. Mark had a strong work ethic and enjoyed working with International Paper Company as Fibers I/E Process Maintenance Manager. He loved going to the beach and enjoyed grilling for family and friends. Mark enjoyed walking to the creek and spending time with his dog, Mackie. He was preceded in death by son, Robert “Buddy” Helveston and sister, Paula Helveston. A loving husband, his memory will be cherished by his loving wife of 20 years Cathy Helveston; daughters, April (Jason) Stagner, Amanda Helveston and Kathleen Herring; grandchildren, Blake, Roland and Leslie Kate; parents, Betty Jo Brannon and Ronald Lee (Mary) Helveston; brother, David Helveston; other relatives and friends. A wake will be held Wednesday, May 6, 2015 from 6pm-9pm at Freeman Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held 2pm, Thursday, May 7, 2015 at Lambert Cemetery with Rev. Marc Hobbs officiating.
