Mr. Joseph Wesley “Bud” Odom, 90, a native and resident of Deer Park, Alabama passed away Friday, October 17, 2014 at a local hospital. He was a World War II United States Navy veteran and worked for over 40 years for Smith Propane. Bud was preceded in death by his grandson, Dustin Odom. Left to cherish his memory is wife of 52 years, Dyscie Odom; three sons, Anthony “Andy” Odom, Ben Odom and James Odom; three grandchildren, Rebekka, Karen and Mason; six great grandchildren, Shelby, Makayla, Hailey, Hannah, Ariannah and Alyssa; two brothers, Aaron Odom and Leroy (Linda) Odom; three sisters, Marie Goodman, Jeanette Boone and Mable Howard; other relatives and friends. The wake will be from 6-9pm Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at Freeman Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 2pm Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at Deer Park United Methodist Church with Rev.
