Josephine Earle

Josephine Aull Earle, a native of Batesburg, South Carolina, and a resident of Citronelle, Alabama, passed away Thursday, October 01, 2020, at her home. She was 86 years old. Josephine was a member of Memorial Baptist Church in Citronelle and worked for over 40 years as a nurse assistant of Dr. John Prine. She was also a longtime member of the Eastern Star. She had a giving spirit and was always willing to help anyone in need. Josephine loved her cat, Callie, and enjoyed feeding and watching the birds. She also loved reading her Bible and the newspaper, and getting her hair done by Mrs. Doris. Most of all, Josephine loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, who were always there for her when she needed it. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Earle; granddaughter, Amanda Crawford; great granddaughter, Sierra Baskin; parents, Joseph and Linnie Aull; and brother, John W. Aull (Sarah). Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Robert Douglas Earle (Rita); daughters, Clara Baskin (David) and Linnie Donald (Simon); eleven grandchildren; thirty-four great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. The family would like to thank Amedysis, Hometown Hospice, and the caretakers that sat with Josephine for all of their loving care and support throughout this time. The family will receive friends from 10am until the 11am funeral service Monday, October 05, 2020, at Memorial Baptist Church with Rev. Dino Danzey officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Crest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Scott Crawford, Brian Baskin, John Aull, Brandon Baskin, Andrew Box, and James Agerton, Chris Byrne, and David Crawford.
