Joyce Ellen Newburn

Mrs. Joyce Ellen Newburn, 60, of Citronelle, AL. died August 19, 2012 at a local hospital. She was a homemaker and member of Lighthouse of Prayer. She enjoyed singing, playing the piano and going to church. Joyce was preceded in death by her son, Eric Reed. She is survived by her mother, Margie Sullivan; daughter, Samantha Weaver; son, Carl Reed, Jr.; seven grandchildren, Jesse Weaver, Brittny Coverton, Breanna Reed, Christine Curry, Coby Reed, Caleb Reed and Eric Reed; brothers, Wayne Sullivan, Dossie Sullivan, Alfred Sullivan and Perry Sullivan; sisters, Wanda Johnston, Josephine Newburn and Charlene Weaver; and other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 10 am until the 11 am Funeral Service Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. Travis Evans officiating. Interment will be in Lambert Grove Cemetery.
