Joyce Shirley Weaver

Joyce Shirley Weaver, 65, a lifelong resident of Citronelle passed away Wednesday, April, 23, 2014 at USA Medical Center. She was a loving and selfless person who helped many people in time of need with food and encouraging words. Sister Joyce was a godly woman and ministered throughout the community helping people with spiritual guidance. She was a member of Refuge for Souls Holiness Church. She leaves behind her husband, Carl M. Weaver; sons, Troy Buttram, Michael Paul Weaver and James Weaver; daughters, Dana Buttram, Chasity Byrd and Mary Chestang; sixteen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; sisters, Laura Fredricksen, Maggie McDonald, Callie Jackson and Ruth Weaver; other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends Saturday, April, 26, 2014 from 11am until the 1pm funeral service at Freeman Chapel with Rev. Travis Evans, Rev. Eddie Rivers, Rev. Stanley Green officiating.
