Judy R. Reed, a beloved soul who found joy in's simple pleasures, passed away at Mobile Infirmary Medical Center. She was known for her love of Alabama Football and Atlanta Braves Baseball, as well as her fondness for sitting outside and visiting the beach. Judy also took great pleasure in managing yard sales, finding fulfillment in connecting with others through these activities.
Born on October 9, 1957, Judy lived a life filled with meaningful moments and cherished interactions. Her proudest accomplishments revolved around her family, particularly her daughters, Bridget D. Reed and Kelly L. Reed; son, Grady G. Reed; grandchildren, Trinity Reed, Randall Reed, Grady Reed, and Joseph Reed; two great-grandchildren; and mother, Mattie L. Moore.
In addition to her immediate family, Judy is survived by her sisters Darlene Weaver (Bruce), Denise Young, Fran Winchester; numerous nieces and nephews; close friends, Delphine Dorman, Barbara Weaver, and Lula Faye Eaton; as well as other relatives and friends who will all deeply miss her presence.
Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Grenade Reed and father, Columbus Rivers.
Services to honor and remember Judy R. Reed will take place at Magnolia Holiness Church. A visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until the 3:00 PM funeral service on March 29, 2024 with Bro. Kenny Young and Bro. Clarence Ramsey officiating. Burial will follow in Magnolia Cemetery.
Judy's legacy of love, dedication to family, and appreciation for life's simple joys will be forever cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace knowing she made a lasting impact on all who had the pleasure of crossing paths with her.
