Kathy Sue Jones

Kathy Sue Jones, 52, a native of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and resident of Citronelle, Alabama passed away Thursday, June 25, 2015 at UAB Hospital. She was a homemaker, worked at Jeanna’s Flower Shop and enjoyed spending time with her family. In her spare time, Kathy wrote poems and enjoyed playing scrabble. Kathy was preceded in death by her father, Robert V. Foster and the love of her life, husband, Kenneth William “Kenny” Jones. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Kelly (Brandon Hart) Giles, Laura (Anthony Cronin) Jones, Jay (Amy Lady) Giles, Kenneth William Jones II, Lesley (Philip Huffmaster) Jones and Jennifer (Lance Waters) Jones; mother, Maureen (Jesse) Moss; fourteen grandchildren, Aaron, Faith, Kayla, Hayla, Hope, Ryan, Devin, Daylon, Dylan, Tommy, Austin, Spencer, Beau and Shelby; two sisters, Linda (Jay) Guy and Nancy McKinley; brother, Ronnie Foster; dearest and devoted friends, Lilly Salter, Dana Lind, Gordon Vernon, Brenda Wilson, Lil Robert Rogers and Keith Lind; other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 10am until the 11am funeral service on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Norman officiating. Burial will follow in Lambert Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Aaron Clapham, Brandon Lind, Eric Huffmaster, Lil Alan Jones, Stephen Jones and Lance Dixon.
