Kevin Lamar Minchew

Kevin Lamar Minchew, a resident of Citronelle, Alabama, passed away Thursday, March 09, 2023, at his home.  He was 58 years old.  Kevin worked as a carpenter for many years.  He dedicated his life to his work and his family.  In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and he was always helping those in need.  Most of all, Kevin loved his entire family, and they will miss him dearly.

Kevin was preceded in death by his father, Mallard Leroy Minchew; and his mother-in-law, Rita H. Batley.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 28 years, Rhonda Minchew; children, Kevin Minchew, II, Daphne Guthrie, Robert Wayne Minchew, Charlena Nicole Crandall, Jamie Lynn Crandall, and William Wayne Daw, III; grandchildren, Ashton, Kiersten, Dalton, Adalynn, Thomas, Christian, Cassandra, Levi, Brodie, Christie, Ashley, Avery, and D.J.; one great grandchild; mother, Sharon Myers; siblings, Dennis Minchew, James Russell Minchew, Isaac Minchew, and Richard Morrow; fur babies, Little Dog and Marley; nieces and nephews; other relatives; and friends.

The family will receive friends from 1pm until the 2pm funeral service Saturday, March 11, 2023, at Freeman Funeral Home.
