L T Reed

L.T. Reed, a native and resident of Mount Vernon, Alabama, passed away Saturday, February 01, 2020. He was 76 years old. L.T. loved his family, especially his children and grandchildren; and he enjoyed working. He also loved to watch Alabama Football. L.T. was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his wife of over 50 years, Erbie Reed; son, Thomas E. Reed; and grandson, Thomas Joseph Reed. Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Vickie Marks (Samuel), Robert Reed, Troy Reed, Paul Byrd (Laurel), Alice Madison (Joseph), Ashley Weaver (Mitch), Kimberly Reed, and Diane Johnston; grandchildren, Leslie Aguilera (Hernan), Hope McCormick, Larissa Davis (Craig), Justin Reed (Blanch), Victoria Reed, Bright Reed (Ally), Britney Reed, Kimberly Marks, Jane Cole (Michael), Breonna Weaver, Alana Weaver, Mitch Weaver, Jr., Torrie Matthews, Liam Reed, Chace Jordan, Trace Jordan, and Bailey Madison; a host of great grandchildren; and other relatives and friends. A wake will be held for L.T. from 6pm until 9pm Tuesday, February 04, 2020, at Freeman Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 10am Wednesday, February 05, 2020, at Aldersgate United Methodist Church with Rev. Barbara Brewi, Rev. Dunford Cole, and Rev. George Weaver officiating.
