Lana Catherine Turner

Ms. Lana Catherine Turner, 64, a native and resident of Mobile, Alabama passed away, Monday, May 19, 2014 at a local healthcare facility. She was a 1967 graduate of Murphy High School, worked at Gayfers for many years and member of First Baptist Church of Tillmans Corner. Mrs. Turner was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore Clinton Turner and Maud Shipp Adams. Left to cherish her memory is her brother, Dwight D. (Becky) Turner; two nephews, Clint (Debbie) Turner and David (Kim) Turner; great nephews, Justice, Caleb, Sam and Waylon Turner; the FBTC Sunday School Class “Women With Heart” with special appreciation to Vickie Wills and the Homebound Ministry Team; other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 10 am until the 11 am funeral service on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. Greg Pouncey and Rev. Mark Griffin officiating.
