Landry Collins Weaver, a spirited soul whose brief time on this earth left an indelible mark on those who knew and loved, passed away on September 11, 2024, at USA Children's and Women's Hospital. Born on February 11, 2024, Landry was already a vibrant light in her family’s life, known for her sassy and feisty personality that captured hearts effortlessly.
Throughout her time with us, Landry brought joy and laughter to everyone around her. She had a unique charm—loved to engage with her mobile, basked in the affection of butt pats from her adoring daddy, and made her opinions known with a roll of her eyes that spoke volumes. She managed to impact so many lives in her short time, a testament to the deep love that surrounded her.
Landry is survived by her devoted parents, Chase and Kimberlyn Weaver, who cherished every moment spent with their beloved daughter. She was blessed with loving grandparents, Spencer and Susan Weaver, and Gene and Krista Herring, alongside her great grandparents, Carol Byrd, Bill and Maurine Stagner, and Pete and Laura Bryan. Landry will also be remembered fondly by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and many other relatives and friends who admired her vivacity and sweet spirit.
While Landry will be deeply missed by all who had the fortune to know her, she joins her deceased family members—her grandfather, JR Bryan; great grandmother, Nell Weaver; and great grandfather, Grover Byrd—who will welcome her into eternal rest.
The family will receive friends on September 17, 2024, from 9:00 AM until the 11:00 AM funeral service at Redemption Church with Rev. Ed Litton and Rev. Seth Maggio officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
As we gather to celebrate the life of this precious little girl, let us hold dear the memories she created and the love she instilled in our hearts. Though her time was fleeting, the impact she made will resonate profoundly, reminding us to treasure every moment, to embrace our loved ones, and to champion the gift of life.
