Mrs. Laura Elizabeth Byrd, a native of Brandon, MS and resident of Citronelle, AL. died March 23, 2011. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. She is survived by three sons, Charles G. Byrd, Jr. - Houston, TX, Robert H. Byrd - Georgetown, AL & Richard S. Byrd - Citronelle, AL, two daughters Laura Lee Bates - Citronelle, AL & Wendy Elizabeth Creel - Mobile, AL, two brothers George Lee Powe - Pearl, MS & Jim Powe - Mobile, AL, eight grandchildren & ten great-grandchildren. Graveside service will be 2 PM Saturday, March 26, 2011 at Fellowship Cemetery with Rev. Paul Ott officiating. Online condolences may be given at www.freemanfh.com.
