Lawrence Gilbert Weaver

Lawrence Gilbert Weaver, 49, of McIntosh, Alabama passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, July 13, 2015. He was a painter and sandblaster. Gilbert loved to hunt, fish, ride motorcycles and especially loved to make people smile and laugh. He was known for being a “cut up” and always joking with everyone. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Franklin and Savannah Virginia Weaver. He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Tiffany, D.J., Brittany, Lacy, Kasey, Aaron and Ariel; brother, Darin (Karla) Weaver; special cousins, Hope (Robert) Sullivan, Joan (Lee) Davis, Angel (Bubba) Patrick; other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 10am until the 11am funeral service on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at Home Gospel Holiness Church with Rev. Paul Chestang officiating. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations should be made to Freeman Funeral Home to help with his funeral expenses.
