Lawrence Howard Mcdavid

Lawrence Howard "Mack" McDavid, 77, a native of Citronelle, Alabama and resident of Mobile, Alabama passed away Wednesday, September 09, 2020 at Mobile Infirmary Medical Center. Mack graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi and was an educator with the Mobile County School System for 25 years. Mack was a member of the Citronelle United Methodist Church. Mack loved Mardi Gras and participated in the Comic Cowboys Society. Mack served on the Citronelle Library Board and the Citronelle Industrial Board. Mack also was a member of the Citronelle Lodge #637 F&AM. He loved to take care of his birds and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, L.G. and Ethel McDavid. Those left to cherish his memory include his sisters, Gwendolyn Dollar and Hazel Gray (Watt); niece, Dwan Kirby (Bryan); nephews, Timothy Dollar (Becky) and Lawrence Dollar (Amanda); great nieces and great nephews; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 14, 2020 at Citronelle United Methodist Church with Rev. Denny McDavid, Rev. Dino Danzey, Rev. David Ehmke, and Rev. Anthony Tutor officiating. Family and friends will be received from 10-11am. Funeral service will be at 11am with burial immediately following at Pine Crest Cemetery.
