Lawrence "Larry" Cooper Davis

Lawrence Cooper Davis, affectionately known as Larry, passed away September 08, 2018. He was 63 years old. Larry was well known throughout the community. He was passionate about the Lord, his family, and his business. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his mother, Velma Lucille Davis; father, Henry Hemp Davis; and brother, Elmer Davis. Larry is survived by his wife of 47 years, Penny Davis; children, Michelle Luna, Melissa Vega (Luis), Christine Davis, and Nathan Davis (Nicole); nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; siblings, Millard Davis, Jessica Mae Davis, Beverly Pauline James, and Jeradine Davis; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 10am until the 11am funeral service Friday, September 14, 2018, at Lighthouse of Praise Holiness Church, with Rev. Ken Davis officiating.
