Lawrence Odom

Lawrence Odom, 77, a resident of Deer Park, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, March 25, 2014, at Washington County Hospital. Mr. Odom was a retired law enforcement officer having served over 60 years with various departments. He was a member of Deer Park United Methodist Church and was involved in forestry for many years and an avid hunter. He leaves behind his wife of 59 years, Virginia Odom; children, Lawrence Madison (Barbara) Odom, Brenda Odom Hartley, Chris Anthony (Polly) Odom, Hazel Odom, Mitchell Odom; 12 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; brother, Jack Odom; sister, Billie Linzey; other relatives and friends; his dog Sugar. The family will receive friends Thursday, March 27, 2014 from 10am until the 11am funeral service with Rev. Bruce Sheffield & Rev. Tommy Gaillard officiating. Burial will follow at Deer Park Cemetery. Pallbearers were Larry Odom, Chris Odom, Mitchell Odom, Tyler Odom, Blake Odom, Joseph Odom.
