Lawrence "Tipe" Vernon Chestang

Lawrence Vernon ''Tipe'' Chestang, a resident of Sims Chapel, Alabama, passed away Sunday, May 08, 2022. He was 68 years old. Tipe enjoyed hunting and fishing, and most of all, he loved his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Tipe was preceded in death by his parents, Marshall and Lillie Chestang; sisters, Janice Sweat, Joann Weaver, Dina Ellison, and Janita Patrick; and brother, Timothy Chestang.

Those left to cherish his memory include his sister, Tassie Moorer (Hugh); special mother, Martha Ann Sullivan; seven nieces and nephews; eighteen great-nieces and great-nephews; and other loving family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 10am until the 11am funeral service Thursday, May 12, 2022, at Hillspring Holiness Church with Rev. Willie Long, Jr. officiating.
