Leona " Pat " Pharez

Mrs. Leona A. “Pat” Pharez, 74, a native of Maryland and resident of Fairford, Alabama passed away June 21, 2013 at her residence. She was a retired cashier and member of Calvert Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Bennett Pharez of Fairford, Alabama; brother, Larry “Sonny” McKenzie of Mobile, Alabama; step-son, Judson B. Pharez of South Carolina; two grandchildren; other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 2 pm until the 3 pm Funeral Service on Sunday, June 23, 2013 at Calvert Baptist Church with Rev. Clay Lewis officiating. Active Pallbearers will be Dean Hopkins, Richard O’Rouke, James Taylor, Dwayne Dew, Terry Snow, Ray Hopkins and Donald Knight. Honorary Pallbearers will be Paul Hopkins, Doug Barden, Toney Cooper, Odell Frazier, John Bunn, Jackie Nichols, Mark Heathcoe and Wilson Johnston. Interment will be in Malcolm Baptist Church Cemetery.
