Lesa D. Lofton

Lesa Doretha Lofton, 71, passed away Thursday, November 9, 2017 at her residence in Mount Vernon, Alabama. She was a homemaker and enjoyed singing in the choir as a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church. Lesa loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by those who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Fannie Byrd; two brothers, Fred McKinley Byrd and George David Byrd. Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Marvin Lofton, Jr. (Samantha) and Perry Lofton (Lynn); grandchildren, Nicole, Jeff, Jamie, Gary, P.J., and Grant; great grandchildren, Makaylee, Blaysen, Braxten, Jailee, Bransen, and Libby; sisters, Marcia Reed, Wanda Faye Weaver and Alice Virginia Byrd; brothers, James Garfield Byrd, Leo Byrd and Elvis Byrd; other relatives and friends. The Rosary will begin at 10:45 am and the family will receive friends from 11am until the 12pm Mass of the Resurrection on Monday, November 13, 2017 at St. Theresa Catholic Church with Rev.
