Lester Melton Hoeck

Lester Melton Hoeck, age 64, a native of Davenport, IA and resident of Chunchula, AL, died Sunday, September 12, 2010, at his residence. He worked in the shipyard as a welder and was a member of Belle Fountain Missionary Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, Laurence and JoElla Lagrange Hoeck; brother, Larry Hoeck and sister, Betty Hoeck. He is survived by his wife, Vicki Lynn Hoeck of Chunchula, AL; two sons, Lester M. (Veronica) Hoeck, II of Theodore, AL and Terry L. (Bobbie) Hoeck, Sr. of Chunchula, AL; daughter, Lisa M. (Barry, Sr.) Motes of Chunchula, AL; three brothers, Lonnie Hoeck and Laverne Hoeck, both of Davenport, IA and Leroy Voss of Chunchula, AL; two sisters, Alberta Abbott and Linda Kuball, both of Donohue, IA; eleven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 10 AM until the 11 AM Memorial Service on Saturday, September 18, 2010 at Freeman Funeral Home in Citronelle with Rev. Frankie Dunn officiating.
