Lila Jane Weaver

Lila Jane Weaver, affectionately known as Janie, passed away Sunday, October 03, 2021, at Whitfield Regional Hospital in Demopolis, Alabama. She was 56 years old. Janie was born October 29, 1964. She loved to go shopping at the flea market and thrift stores, but most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed fishing and sitting on her porch, and also enjoyed watching old tv shows. Most of all, she loved to make people laugh. She was always laughing and making others laugh. Janie was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Eunice Weaver; son, Bryant Weaver; and brother, David Raymond.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Ricky Silva; children, Brandy Reid (Robert), Anthony Weaver, and David Weaver; brother, William Weaver (Mary); twenty grandchildren; two great grandchildren; close relatives, Melissa, Norman, and Annie Weaver; and other relatives and friends.

A wake will be held for Janie from 6pm until 9pm Thursday, October 07, 2021, at Freeman Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 11am Friday, October 08, 2021, at Home Gospel Church with Bro. Jerry Waite and Bro. Don Gresham officiating. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery.
