Maurice Nichols, 80, a native of Needham, Alabama and resident of Fairford, Alabama passed away Friday, October 9, 2015 at her home. She was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family. Maurice was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ed “Papa” and Millie “Sissy” Jenkins; siblings, Mike Jenkins, Lincoln Jenkins, Belle Howell, Elsie Saksa, Tuman Jenkins and Edna Jones. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of over 60 years, Leck Nichols; two sons, Roy Nichols and Dale (Deborah) Nichols; two daughters, Jackie Nichols and Ashley Nichols; very special “pal”, Jimmy Norred; five grandchildren, Sherry Allison, Laura Leigh, Johnny, Dewayne and Destiny; eight great grandchildren, Hunter, Peyton, Lex, Zach, Grant, Brayden, John Lucas and Kaci Dale; two brothers, Rudolph Jenkins and Buddy Jenkins; sister, Tommie Sue Turner; other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 10am until the 11am funeral service on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at Liberty Baptist Church with Rev. Billy Robinson and Rev. Gary Pickard officiating.
