Lloyd Douglas Evans, Sr.

Lloyd Douglas Evans, 64, a native and resident of Fairford, Alabama passed away Friday, April 22, 2016 at Springhill Memorial Medical Center. He was a millwright at Alabama State Port Authority for over 40 years. Lloyd loved to sing and enjoyed country music. He enjoyed getting “titty-deep” at the sandbar and spending time with his family and friends. Left to cherish his memory is wife, Wanda Evans; two sons, William David Evans and Lloyd Douglas Evans, Jr.; daughter, Mary Amanda Ferguson; seven grandchildren; brother, Jake Roe; sister, Polly Necaise; other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 10am until the 11am funeral service on Monday, April 25, 2016 at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Pickard officiating. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery.
