Lloyd Joseph Manuel

Lloyd Joseph Manuel, 70, a native of Elton, Louisiana and resident of Chatom, Alabama passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at Washington County Hospital. Lloyd retired as an operator at Hoechst Celanese and was a loyal LSU fan (HLM). In his younger days, Lloyd coached boxing. He enjoyed watching college football, fishing, working in his garden, riding and working on his tractor, enjoyed cooking and grilling and always had some kind of project going on. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Angie (Michael) Finney; grandson, Taylor Finney; brothers, Earl Joseph (Ilene) Manuel and Floyd Joseph (Shirley) Manuel; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 12pm until the 2pm funeral service on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at Freeman Funeral Home with Revs. Kendall Turner, Jason Carpenter and Greg Morris officiating.
