Louise Parrent, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on February 1, 2025, at Springhill Memorial Hospital. She was born on August 26, 1953. Louise dedicated 28 years of her life to working at Crowne Healthcare in Citronelle before her well-deserved retirement. Her career was a testament to her commitment and passion for helping others.
Louise was not only known for her professional dedication but also for her vibrant personality. She was loved for her laughter, friendly demeanor, and generous spirit. Her talkative nature allowed her to form connections easily, and she was always willing to lend a helping hand or an understanding ear.
Above all, Louise took immense pride in her family, holding her role as a mother and grandmother as her greatest accomplishment. She is survived by her children, Jamie Taylor (Seth Thomas), Holly Clark, and Josh Clark; and her grandchildren, Malachi Taylor, Jaelyn Taylor, Malia Taylor, and Corbin Clark. Louise also leaves behind her beloved siblings: Lois Wooley, Wendell Fretwell (Carol), Ovenia Howard, Jimmy Fretwell (Jan), Edna Bedgood, Lorane Henderson (Don), Doris Ridge (Robert), and Carolyn Farmer (Tom), along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Louise was an avid fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide, showcasing her spirited nature and loyalty. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know her.
