Louise Wilson, 95, a native of Madison County, Alabama and longtime resident of Mount Vernon, Alabama passed away peacefully Friday, September 1, 2017 at Crowne Healthcare of Citronelle. She was a homemaker and loved caring for her family. She was a “country girl” and enjoyed listening to music and writing poems. Louise enjoyed worshiping and praising the Lord. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie Clay Wilson; three brothers, Floyd Gray, Wilson Gray and Tim Gray; and son-in-law, Avery Corbin. Those left to cherish her memory is her children, Freddie Ellison, Helen Corbin, Gail Rawls (Ray) and David Wilson; grandson, Michael Rawls; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The wake will be from 6-9 pm Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at Satsuma Assembly of God. The funeral service will be 2pm Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at Satsuma Assembly of God with Rev. Steve Norman and Minister Sean Mizelle officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Vernon Community Cemetery. Online condolences may be given at www.freemancitronelle.com.
