Madison Alexis Long

Madison Alexis Long, 19, a resident of Chunchula, Alabama passed away Saturday November 1, 2014 from a motor vehicle accident. Lexi was a member of Turnerville Baptist Church; a graduate of Saint Paul’s Episcopal School and attended the University of Southern Mississippi where she was a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority and the Disney College Program. Lexi loved spending time with her family and friends and will be missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her great grandparents, Paul and Louise Stagner and Duke Simison; grandparents, John Maddox, Thomas Long and Mike Williams. Lexi’s memory will always be with her parents, Greg and Paula Long; brother, Jamie (Katie) Scoggins; sister, MacKenzie Long; grandparents, Gayle Long, Barbara Maddox (Steve) Willcutt, Diane Williams and Gerri Scoggins; aunts and uncles, Samantha (Ken) Reinhart, Randy (Denise) Long, Pam (Kevin) Nix, Melissa (David) Landrum, Lana (Brooks) Long, Tracey Williams, Mike (Donna) Stagner and Jennifer (Lance) Maness; other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 5, 2014 from 12pm until the 2pm funeral service at Turnerville Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Presnall, Rev. Darius Templeton and Rev. Donnie Williamson officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Saraland, Alabama with Justin Long, Lane Kelly, Chris Stagner, Max Harrell, Austin Nix and Andrew Miller serving as pallbearers.
