Malcolm Roy Williams, affectionately known as Mackie, a resident of Theodore, Alabama, passed away Sunday, August 13, 2017. He was 71 years old. Mackie served his country in the United States Army Reserves and later the United States Army. He is a retired Vietnam Veteran. After he served in the military, Mackie was known for his skills as a mechanic. He also did welding work. Mackie loved spending time with his kids and grandkids, who will miss him dearly. Mackie was preceded in death by his parents, James and Zelia Williams. Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Tracey Williams and Angela Vickers (Donald); step son, Dave Johnson; grandchildren, Anthony, Landon, Beau, Randie, Kaitlyn, and Addison; siblings, Linda Anderson, Terry Williams, Flo Evans, Shirley Dees, Billy Williams, and Betty McKay; and other relatives and friends. A graveside service will be held for Malcolm at 11am Tuesday, August 22, 2017, at Alabama State Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery. Online condolences may be given at www.freemancitronelle.com.
