Margaret Ann Lott

Margaret Ann Boothe Lott, a resident of Gulfcrest, Alabama, passed away peacefully of natural causes surrounded by her three daughters and granddaughter, Jennifer, Friday, June 19, 2020, at Crowne Healthcare of Citronelle. She was 91 years old. She was a member of Gulfcrest Baptist Church. She enjoyed crocheting, embroidery, and cooking delicious meals and desserts for her family. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Lavern Lott; parents, Leslie (Leck) and Mae Boothe; brothers, James Boothe and Harold Boothe; and sisters, Myrtle Heathco, Mary Wooley, and Louise Boothe. Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Patsy Blount (Wayne), Martha Thrower (Bill), and Susan Newberry (Bill); seven grandchildren, Darrin Blount (Wendy), Keith Blount (Missy), Todd Blount, Jennifer Graham (Brian), Brad Thrower (Amber), Hayley Newberry, and Brent Newberry (Jessica); eight great grandchildren, Megan Weaver (Joe), Andie Blount, Morgan Blount, McKenzie Blount, Dale Thrower, Carsyn Thrower, Lauren Kendall Graham, and Triton Graham; brother, Leslie (Leck) Boothe, Jr.; and other relatives and friends. The family will have a drive thru visitation from 9:30am until 10:30am Tuesday, June 23, 2020, at Gulfcrest Cemetery. A private graveside service will follow. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Darrin, Keith, and Todd Blount, Brad Thrower, Brent Newberry, and Brian Graham.
