Marilee Patrick Newburn

Marilee Patrick Newburn, a native and resident of Citronelle, AL died November 4, 2010. She was a member of Cedar Creek Church of the Brethren, the Citronelle Garden Club and was a retired state employee. She also enjoyed playing cards and quilting. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Dan Newburn; son, Dan William "Teddy" Newburn, Jr.; grandson, John Newburn; siblings, Duggar, James, Arthur, Chandler, Henry, Lila and Emma. She is survived by her daughter, Janice Faye (Herbert) Turner of Citronelle, AL.; son, Walter Leon "Randy" (Carolyn) Newburn of Mobile, AL.; sister, Ruthie Mae Sexton of Semmes, AL.; sister-in-law, Willie Mae Gilchrist of Saraland, AL.; grandchildren, Kelly, Kenny, Karrie, Rusty, Jimmy, Jerry, and Jamia; sixteen great grandchildren, Turner, Tyler, Sevanna, Trey, Alec, Annie, Kristy, Cody, Craig, B.J., Evan, Christopher, Jason, Ella and Samantha; and other relatives and friends. A wake will be from 6 PM - 9 PM Saturday, November 6, 2010 at Freeman Funeral Home in Citronelle. The Funeral Service will be at 2 PM Sunday, November 7, 2010 at Cedar Creek Church of the Brethren with Rev. Steve Mason officiating. Interment will be in Brethren Cemetery.
