Marion "Tommy" Thompson Dees, Jr.

Marion Thompson ''Tommy'' Dees, Jr., a resident of Deer Park, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at his home. He was 71 years old. Tommy was born June 17, 1951, in Citronelle, Alabama. He worked as a brick mason until retirement. In his spare time, Tommy enjoyed hunting and fishing, and sitting on his porch. Most of all, Tommy loved to spend time with his friends and family who will miss him dearly.

Tommy was preceded in death by his wife, Sherell Lynn Dees; parents, Bill and Joyce Dees; and nephew, Lee Smith.

Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Thomas Dees (Crystal), Tyler Dees (Shallon), Floyd Weaver, Mark Patterson, Angel Taylor, and Kenneth Mathews (Lindsay); mother of his children, Belinda Dees; grandchildren, Gracie, Brock, Dayton, Angeleigh, Aiden, Blake, Easton, and Leighton Grace; siblings, Dianne Dees, Neci Kelly (Tommy), and Annette Turner (Barton); a host of nieces and nephews; other relatives; and friends.

A memorial service will be held at Community Christian Fellowship Church in Deer Park at a later date.
