Marjorie Ann Vaughan, a resident of Mobile, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, May 10, 2017. She was 77 years old. Marjorie was born July 09, 1939 in Neely, Mississippi. Marjorie enjoyed arts and crafts. She loved crocheting, knitting, cross stitching, painting ceramics, cooking, and most importantly spending time with her family, especially her grandkids. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, George and Edna Hillman; brothers, Gordon Hillman and Douglas Hillman; and sister, Sue Smith. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 61 years, Tommy Vaughan; children, Mark Anthony Vaughan, Stephanie Ann Cochran (Douglas), and Christopher Hayes Vaughan (Karen); grandchildren, Kim Ridge (Richard), Tony Cochran (Rhonda), Jordan Vaughan (Sabrina), Lauren Windsor (Corey), Olivia Myers (Cody), and Braden Vaughan; great grandchildren, Tara and Tipton, Lane and Aiden, and Aurora and Luna; brother, Michael Hillman; other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 2:30pm until the 4pm funeral Saturday, May 13, 2017, at Freeman Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Deer Park Cemetery.
