Mark Anthony Damico

Mark Anthony Damico, a beloved husband, stepfather, brother, and friend, passed away on March 31, 2025, at the Mobile Infirmary Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family. Born on December 25, 1964, Mark was known for his courteous and kind-hearted nature that touched everyone he encountered. He was a truly loving person who treated every individual as a friend and didn't meet a stranger.

Mark was a devoted stepfather who raised Jonie Sonnier and George Hodge, Jr. as his own, always putting their needs above everything else. His selflessness and devotion ensured that his children felt loved and cared for. He took great pride in the relationships he formed within his family, cherishing every moment spent together.

He is survived by his loving wife, Namoi Damico; his cherished children, Jonie Sonnier and George Hodge, Jr.; his brother, Paul Damico, and sister-in-law, Karina; along with numerous other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Helen Damico, and his infant sister, Kim Damico.

Mark's passions included landscaping, where he found joy in nurturing the beauty of nature. He was an avid fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide and the New Orleans Saints, enjoying spirited moments shared with friends and family during football games.

One of Mark’s proudest accomplishments was his deep connection to his church family at Magnolia Holiness Church, where he found a sense of belonging and purpose.

The upcoming services to honor his memory will take place at Magnolia Holiness Church on Thursday, April 3, 2025. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM, followed by the funeral service at 2:00 PM with Bro. Ike Reed officiating. Burial will follow in Magnolia Cemetery.

Mark Anthony Damico leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering commitment to his family and friends. He will be profoundly missed and forever remembered for the warmth and joy he brought into the lives of those fortunate enough to know him.
