Mark Vincent Frazier

Mark Vincent Frazier "SwoopLo", born on October 29, 1968, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. He was a beloved son of Joe Mae Rivers Frazier and Otis Odell "Sonnyman" Frazier, Jr. 

Mark was an avid Alabama fan and Elvis Presley fan.  Mark enjoyed playing golf, cooking, and spending time outside doing yard work.  Most of all, Mark loved to spend time with his friends and family. He will always be remembered for his "one of a kind" personality.

The wake will be held on May 23rd from 6-9 PM at Freeman Funeral Home in Citronelle. The funeral service will be held on May 24th at Simple House of Praise Church Mount Vernon, AL at 11 AM with Rev. Dean Hopkins officiating.

Mark was preceded in death by his mother, Joe Mae Rivers Frazier; father, Otis Odell "Sonnyman" Frazier, Jr.; grandparents, Mack and Marie Sullivan, and Odell and Marie Frazier.

Mark loved his family deeply and cherished the time spent with them and his friends. He is survived by his son, Joel Byrd (Ina); daughter, Jo Mae White (Chris), three grandchildren; siblings, Deborah Boothe (Bubba), Phillip Byrd (Belinda), and Monica Reed (Joe); Joyce Eggers, mother; and special cousin he loved as a brother, Steve Johnston.  Mark also leaves behind other relatives and friends.

The memories that Mark created with those he loved leaves behind an unwavering sense of love that will never be forgotten. His passing has left a profound impact on those who knew him but we take comfort in knowing that he has found eternal peace beyond this world.

Rest in Peace Mark Vincent Frazier, you will be forever missed but never forgotten.
