Marvin Lee Shepard

Marvin Lee Shepard, 65, a native and resident of Citronelle, Alabama passed away peacefully on Friday, January 30, 2015 at his home. He worked in construction and was a jack of all trades from operating equipment to driving trucks. Marvin enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with his family. He loved racing and race cars. Left to cherish his memory is wife of 50 years, Margaret Ann Shepard; three daughters, Sonya (Tim) Tindle, Marla (Doug) McRae and Misty Shepard; son, Marvin Lee (Melissa) Shepard, Jr.; ten grandchildren, Heather (Tony), Cole, T.J., Quentin, Dawson, Haleigh, Conner, Dorisann, Christian and Abigail; two great grandchildren, Bentlee and Brantley; brothers, George (Denise) Shepard and Ronnie Earl (Robin) Shepard; one whom he loved like a brother, Johnny Cieutat and Larry Morgan; special daughter-in-law, Christy Womack; other relatives and friends. The wake will be from 6-9pm Monday, February 2, 2015 at Freeman Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 1pm Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at Living Word Church with Rev. Marc Hobbs and Rev. Otis Lister and Rev. Rickey Turner and Tim Tindle officiating. Pallbearers will be Cole McRae, T.J. Tindle, Quentin Shepard, Dawson Shepard, Tony Bailey, Don Crocker, Jamie “Rawhide” Smith and Bill Newburn. Honorary pallbearers will be Ron Shepard, Keith Shepard, Chad Shepard, Harold Battiste, Larry Nichols, Ronnie Nichols, Conner Shepard and Christian Parnell.
