Mary Elizabeth Cranmore

Mary Elizabeth ”Nanny” Cranmore, of Uniontown, Al, passed away into the arms of her Lord and Savior Monday April 20, 2020. She was 87 years old; born May 29, 1932. Nanny was a seamstress for over 30 years. She was a member of Uniontown Church of God. Nanny loved her family. She loved watching Alabama football and sitting on her front porch swing drinking her “hot” coffee. Nanny was loved by all that knew her. She had a sweet loving spirit about her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dave and Ethel Stone; and sisters, Frances Wyatt; Earnestine Smith.

Those left to cherish her memory include sons, Steve Cranmore; Jerry Cranmore(Carol); grandchildren, Dewayne Cranmore(Tish); Rhonda Cranmore; Ray Cranmore; Jeremy Cranmore(Dena); Amanda(“my girl”) Blankinchip (Jason); her sister Lee Kinard; her great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Her extended family that lived in the Mill Village and the special loving people of Crowne Health Care of Citronelle and Comfort Care of Mobile.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons, grandson-in-law and great grandson(Bryson Blankinchip) and great grandson-in-law(Gage Dingman).

Her graveside services will be held at the Ellawhite Cemetary in Uniontown, Alabama Friday April 24,2020 at 1PM with the Rev. Dale Shafer officiating.
