Mary Elizabeth Dueitt, 85, a native of Andalusia, Alabama, and a resident of Citronelle, Alabama, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, September 22, 2016, surrounded by family and friends. She was born October 13, 1930, to Joseph and Lula Belle Brooks. After moving to Citronelle, Mary became a devoted member of Mount Pisgah Pentecostal Church. Mary loved and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Owen Donald Dueitt, Sr., as well as her parents. Those left to cherish her memory include children, Donald Dueitt (Laura), Viola Massey (Raymond), Joe Dueitt, Rebekah Hall (John), Elaine Cripps (Harold); thirteen grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren; sister, Mildred Neuman; and other relatives and friends. A wake will be held for Mary from 6pm until 9pm, Saturday, September 24, 2016, at Mount Pisgah Pentecostal Church. The funeral will be 11 am Sunday, September 25, 2016, at Mount Pisgah Pentecostal Church with Rev. Karl Causey officiating. Burial will immediately follow in the church cemetery.
