Mary Jane Gartman

Mrs. Mary Jane Gartman, 77, of a native and resident of Citronelle, AL. passed away November 8, 2012 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She retired from SouthTrust Bank and was a member of First Baptist Church of Citronelle. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Warren "Buddy" Gartman; son, James Warren "Jimmy" Gartman, Jr.; three sisters, Thelma Driver, Rosa Lee Helveston and Barbara Ann Nelson; two brothers, Charlie Reid and Bobby Reid. Mrs. Gartman is survived by her children, Donna (Herman) Wainwright, Jr., Betty (Bismar Martel) Jones, Mark (Heather) Lambert, Renee Harris, Rhonda (James Browning) Ledbetter and Pat (Donald) Jones; brother, Clyde Reid; seventeen grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The Wake will be 6-9 pm Saturday, November 10, 2012 at Freeman Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be 2 pm Sunday, November 11, 2012 at the funeral home with Rev. Stan Clayton officiating. Interment will be in Charity Chapel Cemetery.
