Mary Laverne West

Mary Laverne West, a resident of Fairhope, Alabama, passed away Sunday, September 16, 2018. She was 79 years old. Mary was born July 08, 1939. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Fairhope. Mary loved flowers and decorating. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed. Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Tradis Darriel West, Sr.; parents, Luther Ray and Mary Ellen Mason; and brother, Billy Ray Mason. Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Tradis Darriel West Jr., Ronald Joe West (Sheila), and Theresa Coley Webb (Phil); grandchildren, Michelle Welch (Justin), Tracy Cook (Clint), Heather Wade (Alan), Joey West (Haley), Brittany Allen (Lee), Tyler West (Jennifer), Trent Coley, Grant Coley, Wilkins Webb (Ciara), Lee Webb (Megan), and Van Webb (Gene Austin); seventeen great grandchildren; siblings, Luther Ray Mason Jr. (Peggy), Barbara Smith (W.E.), and Bonnie Nowell (Mark); and other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 2pm until 3pm Wednesday, September 19, 2018, at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, Mississippi.
