Mary Elizabeth Romano

Mary Elizabeth Romano passed away on February 21, 2024, at the age of 82 years young. She was born in O’lean, NY and attended Randolph Central High School. 

Mary is survived by four children, Peggy Merrill, David, Merrill, Michael Merrill, and Billi Taylor; 11 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and six great great grandchildren.

Mary is preceded in death by her husband’s Dave Merrill, and Billy Taylor; children, Debbie Merrill, and Gina Laney; brother, Richard Cleveland; sister, Diane Hudgins; two grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and mother, Anna O’Brien Poole.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2024, from 10:00 AM until the 11:00 AM memorial service at Freeman funeral home in Citronelle, Alabama with Bro. Dwight Weaver officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Crest Cemetery.
